DESCRIPTION AND APPLICATIONS

The expansion tank, Sumak hydrofor membrane, and EPDM membrane are made of hygienic, odorless, high-quality rubber material. When the heating circuit is activated, the water volume expands as the water heats up and collects in the hydrofor. Then, when the temperature drops, this water returns to the system and the pressure switch bar setting balances the system pressure.
The Sumak Expansion Tank Hydrophore contains a hydrophore membrane, which is a balloon filled with air and designed to flex, preventing excess pressure that could negatively affect the existing system and acting as a safety device.
